MCFSC HIGH SCHOOL SKATING TEAM

Manitowoc County Figure Skating Club started a high school figure skating team in 2023 and is looking for new members.

The high school season runs October through April. In the past there have been 4 single day high school competitions throughout the season. If you or your skater will be in 9th-12th grade during the skating season, you/they are eligible to compete! This is a great way to meet and spend time with other club members, bond as a team and compete in a fun, friendly environment!

We are looking for skaters to fill Beginner, Low and Intermediate teams.

WHAT SKATERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE ON HIGH SCHOOL SKATING TEAMS?

All skaters must be enrolled as a full-time student as defined by the institution that they attend, grades 9-12. Must be a MCFSC club member taking private lessons.

NON-COMPETITION OPPORTUNITIES:

● Host social events for your team.

● Develop valuable leadership skills by managing and running aspects of the team – work with school administration, event planning, fundraising, and recruiting members.

● Celebrate your skating team members’ accomplishments with graduating senior awards.

● Learn about how to get involved in collegiate skating and other skating opportunities post high school.
